Biography
My passion for photography was born in the 1980s, during my early hikes among the majestic peaks of the Dolomites, where the contact with such extraordinary natural beauty ignited the desire to capture its essence. In the early 1990s, I discovered 3D photography, immediately applying it to landscape imagery. This path led me to participate in major events, such as several editions of the "Dia Sotto Le Stelle" Festival, and to be a guest at the 1998 "Canon Experience" in Bali.
For many years, I collaborated with leading Italian tour operators, producing photoshoots for travel catalogs and 3D audiovisual works. This profession granted me the privilege of traveling the world to capture the soul of unique places: from the shores of Mauritius to the wilderness of Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, and Botswana; from the atmospheres of India and Russia to the great American National Parks; from the colors of Mexico and Brazil to the vast landscapes of the Pantanal, Australia, Iceland, and the Canary Islands.
Over time, my research has focused on wildlife and alpine landscapes, with particular attention to the world of birds. I favor slow rhythms, waiting, and listening, letting the animals and the light decide when to reveal themselves, remaining a silent witness to their world.
My images do not seek the spectacular, but rather the subtle vibration of a gesture, a gaze, or a silence that asks to be heard. Through landscapes and fleeting encounters with wildlife, I seek each time a discreet balance between presence and distance to convey not only what I see but, above all, what I feel in the space between myself and the subject.

La mia passione per la fotografia nasce negli anni '80, durante le prime escursioni tra le vette maestose delle Dolomiti, dove il contatto con una bellezza naturale così straordinaria ha acceso in me il desiderio di catturarne l'essenza. Nei primi anni '90 ho scoperto la fotografia 3D, applicandola subito all'immagine di paesaggio. Un percorso che mi ha portato a partecipare a eventi di rilievo, come diverse edizioni del Festival "Dia Sotto Le Stelle", e a essere ospite del "Canon Experience" a Bali nel 1998.
Per molti anni ho collaborato con i principali tour operator italiani, realizzando servizi fotografici per cataloghi di viaggio e audiovisivi 3D. Questa professione mi ha concesso il privilegio di viaggiare per il mondo per catturare l'anima di luoghi unici: dalle coste di Mauritius alla natura selvaggia di Namibia, Sudafrica, Tanzania e Botswana; dalle atmosfere di India e Russia ai grandi Parchi Nazionali americani; dai colori di Messico e Brasile fino ai vasti paesaggi del Pantanal, dell'Australia, dell'Islanda e delle Isole Canarie.
Nel tempo, la mia ricerca si è concentrata sulla fauna e sui paesaggi alpini, con un'attenzione particolare al mondo dell'avifauna. Privilegio i ritmi lenti, l'attesa e l'ascolto, lasciando che siano gli animali e la luce a decidere quando rivelarsi, rimanendo testimone silenzioso del loro mondo.
Le mie immagini non cercano lo spettacolare, ma piuttosto la vibrazione sottile di un gesto, di uno sguardo o di un silenzio che chiede di essere ascoltato. Attraverso i paesaggi e i fugaci incontri con la fauna selvatica, cerco ogni volta un equilibrio discreto tra presenza e distanza, per trasmettere non solo ciò che vedo ma, soprattutto, ciò che sento nello spazio tra me e il soggetto.
